A Day in Wisconsin

When Ryan from Studnicka Cattle Co. reached out via email about getting updated photos of their broodmares, I was immediately excited. I love meeting new people, especially those passionate about their work, and I knew this visit would be no different. Ryan's family runs an impressive operation, and I couldn’t wait to see it for myself. So, I packed up and made the trip from Iowa to Wisconsin, excited for the day ahead. From a glance at their website, I learned that Studnicka Cattle Co. is an intensive rotational grazing beef farm located in the scenic southwest region of Wisconsin. They proudly offer farm-raised, locally processed, FSIS-certified Grass-Fed premium beef. Once I arrived, the day kicked off with photographing eight horses: broodmares, yearlings, and one horse currently in training with Taylor, Ryan’s wife. It was a full day of snapping photos, traveling, and plenty of whistling to get those horses’ ears perked up! As we made our way towards the end of horses my camera was full, and my heart was full too. To top it off, Ryan and Taylor were kind enough to treat me to their farm-raised grass-fed beef sticks!
